Digital slitter

Digital slitting machines are key equipment used in the lithium-ion battery industry for processing battery electrode sheets. Their primary function is to precisely slit electrode foil into rolls of the required width to meet the production requirements of batteries of various specifications.

Equipment Features

Chassis and Drive Structure: The equipment employs a dual-column structure, with the die connected via a magnetic drive system. This ensures friction-free operation without dust generation and requires no maintenance throughout the entire process.

Tension Control System: A proprietary, patented enclosed dual-air-path slip shaft, paired with a tension sensor, forms a precision tension control system. This maintains continuous and stable tension, ensuring consistent winding quality.

Electrode Cleaning Function: Equipped with a brush dust removal device, it effectively cleans the electrode sheets and removes surface impurities.

Optional Configurations: CCD defect and width detection modules can be fitted for electrode sheet defect detection and marking; a web guiding system provides closed-loop control for precise adjustment of slitting width.

Quality Standards: Processed electrode sheets are free from creases, tears, curled edges, wavy edges, abnormal powder shedding, stringing and other defects.
